Make Room: More

As we step into a new year, God is not calling us to simply do more—He is calling us to make room for more.

In Week 1 of our Make Room series, we journey through the story of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9–10)—a man who refused to be defined by his past, his name, or his circumstances. Surrounded by ordinary genealogies, Jabez stands out not because of his background, but because of his bold prayer.

This message challenges the mindset that survival is enough. Jabez was already honorable, yet he prayed for more—more blessing, more influence, more of God’s presence, and freedom from the pain attached to his past. His story reminds us that God is not intimidated by our prayers and that blessing without God’s presence is never the goal.
